Anthony & Tina Rodriguez

Anthony and Tina Rodriguez have been married for 14 years (as of December 2020). They have been homeschooling parents for 14 years, too, and they have five kids here on earth, ranging in age from teen to toddler. Their sixth child, supposedly due to be born in 2021, went home to Heaven at 6 weeks in utero—their family's own "little saint."

The couple used to be full-time lay missionaries for Couples for Christ Global Mission Foundation, serving the Lord for over 10 years in the Philippines and abroad. As a newly-married missionary couple, they served in Timor Leste for five years, and their two oldest children were born there.

Fast forward to today, together with their children, Anthony and Tina serve in the Light of Jesus Family-Feast Ortigas District. Anthony is a Feast Builder and preacher, while Tina is part of the JEWELS women’s ministry and the district media team. Having served as fulltime Catholic lay missionaries for over 10 years, Anthony and Tina have ministered to couples, young people, singles, and families both in the Philippines and in other countries.

Knowing completely well that they are imperfect parents, they strive to practice Intentional Parenting, and founded Intentional Parenting Philippines to help build stronger families.

As homeschooling parents, Anthony and Tina are the co-founders of ROCKERS (or Roman Catholics Keeping Education Real) Philippines, a support group for Catholic parents who homeschool, afterschool, or are exploring homeschooling for their kids. Tina is also part of Educating for Life, which organizes events for families like the Philippine Homeschool Convention, and the CONNECT Homeschooling and Intentional Parenting Summit.

Over and above all these, Anthony and Tina believe that their first and most important calling is to know, love, and serve God, and to teach and raise their children to do the same. This is reflected in their family’s “life verse”: “. . . seek first the kingdom [of God] and his righteousness, and all these things will be given you besides.” (Matthew 6:33, NABRE)
