We are living in an individualistic society, that has deleted our capacity for sharing with others our life. Independence has become an absolute value. But, at the same time, there are many voices that are promoting the value of care, of giving. Humanizing our relationships refers not only to our intellectual being but also to our bodily dimension. We belong to others, to a community, and this starts with family life at home. Home is the first place where all these abilities can be learned. It is the first school of solidarity. Home adds to family the material support for our flourishment as human beings.
