This initial work was authored by PAREF’s Director of Personal Formation, Dr. Raul Nidoy, who has been working in the field of education for three decades. Dr. Raul Nidoy, an atheist-turned-theologian, has a Doctorate in Sacred Theology, sobresaliente cum laude, from the University of Navarre, Spain, and is the Director of Communication of the Prelature of Opus Dei in the Philippines, and a faculty member of the University of Asia and the Pacific. He has been writing and speaking through national media about theology and social issues, and his writings in the worldwide web have been widely read.

    • I liked how they tried to make the book relatable and useful to High School students.
    • Whenever I feel lost in my faith, I would pick up the JCL book and read it. From this experience, I can claim that the JCL book is a book of reassurance and reflection. It has had a profound spiritual and emotional impact on my life as a result of these attributes.
    • The book was somehow humorous to me. I just started reading it and it’s a great book to be honest.
